Linda Killian was recently a featured speaker at IdeasBoston.

Linda Killian is coming to Boston.

Linda Killian will be making a trip to the Boston area in late October, just days before the election.

On Monday, October 22, Linda will be speaking at Stonehill College at 4:00 p.m. You can see event details here.

On Tuesday, October 23, Linda be speaking at Clark University in the afternoon, and later she will be a featured guest at an event co-sponsored by the Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy at the McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The folllowing day, on Wednesday, October 24, Linda will be a guest of the Boston University History Department for a lecture given through the American Political History Institute.

Linda Killian travels to Ohio for "Super Tuesday" events

As the 2012 presidential primary season continues to heat up, Linda Killian traveled to Ohio for "Super Tuesday," watching the returns and the voting patterns as they emerged.

Killian scheduled several events around the Ohio primary, including public appearances at Ohio Wesleyan University (Tuesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.) and at Ohio State University (Wednesday, March 7 at 6 pm in the Page Hall Policy Forum) (click here for video).

She also was a guest on the "All Sides with Ann Fisher" public affairs talk show on 89.7FM WOSU radio, and on "The Sound of Ideas" on 90.3FM WCPN radio.




Forum and Book Signing at University of Virginia on February 20

On February 20, The Miller Center at the University of Virginia hosted a special Presidents Day Forum with Linda Killian on her new book "The Swing Vote: The Untapped Power of Independents." A book signing followed the Forum. The event was the first Forum moderated by Douglas Blackmon, the Miller Center's new Forum chair.

Killian Talks About 'The Swing Vote' at The Wilson Center

On February 9, 2012, Linda Killian hosted a lecture at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars on her newest book, "The Swing Vote, the Untapped Power of Independents."

Killian featured at New York City Independence Party Organizations Event

On Thursday, January 26th, 2012 at 6:30 p.m., Linda Killian was the featured speaker at the "Untapped Power of Independents" event hosted by the New York City Independence Party Organizations.

Killian discussed her new book, "The Swing Vote: The Untapped Power of Independents." The event was hosted by Cathy Stewart, who is a founder of the Independence Party and the party’s five borough coordinator as well as the Manhattan County Chair.
